Bird of Sorrow

This is the final card for my card class on Saturday. My cousin had a death in her extended family so this is the card that I sent to them to express my sympathy. I decided that this would also be a card for my class.

Paper: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla

Ink: Early Espresso

Stamps: Thoughts & Prayers

Big Shot: Square Lattice Textured Impressions Folder

Punches: Bird Builder, Scallop Edge Border

Hope you like the card!

Bird Punch Pointsettia

I am heading to a Stampin' UP! Team meeting next Sunday so I have been playing with my new texture folder from the Holiday Mini that will be available for everyone on 9/1/10. Isn't that a beautiful background!

I saw another version of this pointsettia on Stamper's Connection. This is my version.

Supplies:

Stamps: Four the Season

Paper: Ruby Red, Garden Green, So Saffron, Whisper White

Ink: Ruby Red & Garden Green

Accessories: Northern Flurry Embossing Folder, Itty Bitty Punch Pack, Two Step Bird Extra Large Punch, Sponge

I used 8 Ruby Red bird bodies & 8 Garden Green bird bodies, 5 bird wings to create the pointsettia. I also "flicked" extra color on each of the pieces to add a little more dimension.

Hope everyone likes it next weekend!
